🐺 Jeep Grand Cherokee 2011 Battery Location

Failure Date: 07/02/2021. 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Consumer writes in regards to alternator safety recall. The consumer stated the vehicle is experiencing the same failure that the alternator safety covers in the model year 2012 vehicle but, the recall was not extended to the model year 2011. The vehicle was repaired. Thanks. How come the Cherokee has secondary battery leads running from both posts? They don't read any voltage when disconnected from the battery. I did have to replace the battery recently and the stop start didn't work for a couple of weeks previous to the battery being weak enough that it couldn't start the car. zrHG.
